This year, the American Whiskey Convention is showing off its American whiskeys and its love for whiskey history!
The largest all-American whiskey event in the country is pulling out all the stops with over 250 American whiskeys, over 80 vendors, discussion forums, master distiller tastings and a pig roast! We will host artisans, agricultural businesses, luxury and specialty item sales, and distillers from all over the country in a gorgeous waterfront maritime museum.
On September 10, 2021, our rescheduled 2020 event will take place, as previously planned, in Philadelphia's own Independence Seaport Museum. Our theme will be "Whiskey on the Water." Uncover the connection between American whiskey and our nations rivers and canals in one of the largest maritime art and artifact collections in North America! Each vendor will be set amongst the museum's galleries, historic ships and imagery of Philadelphia's famous ports- with stunning views of the riverfront! What is American whiskey, after all, without wood and water?
The Seaport Museum was founded in 1960 as the Philadelphia Maritime Museum and has become a key component of Philadelphia’s waterfront renaissance. We serve 110,000 visitors annually and are accredited by the American Alliance of Museums.
