This year, the American Whiskey Convention is showing off its American Whiskeys and its love for history!

The largest all-American whiskey event in the country is pulling out all the stops with over 250 American whiskeys, over 80 vendors, a booze tour of the museum, discussion forums, master distiller tastings and a pig roast! We will host artisans, agricultural businesses, luxury and specialty item sales, and distillers from all over the country in one of the most the stunningly beautiful museums in the country.

This year's event, on April 5th, 2019, will take place in the University of Pennsylvania's Museum of Archaelogy and Anthropology. This building can trace its history back to 1899 when Pennsylvania boasted thousands of distilleries!  It will provide our event with a backdrop of beautiful artifacts and historic grandeur. Whiskey meets antiquity! Each vendor will be set amongst ancient artifacts and Greek, Roman and Egyptian relics. It will be a feast for the eyes as well as the palette.

The Penn Museum’s building itself inspires awe and curiosity. Built over the course of more than a century (1899–2005), the Museum incorporates striking architectural styles, soaring galleries that house world-class collections, state-of-the-art laboratories that yield new discoveries each day, and beautiful public gardens that welcome visitors and passersby into serene green spaces.
